Fradin Books

Stranger than Fiction!

Greetings, fellow readers and writers!

My name is Judy "Research" Fradin. I love doing intensive research prior to writing children's and young adult non-fiction books. My dear husband Dennis and I wrote more than 50 books together. We researched all the photos for our books, too.

Fradin books cover many topics. Although we're not scientists, we wrote about volcanoes, hurricanes, droughts, tsunamis, earthquakes and tornadoes for National Geographic children's books.

Although we're not African American, we wrote biographies of what we call "Not well-enough known African American women"--Ida B. Wells, Mary Church Terrell, Daisy Bates and Zora Neale Hurston. We also wrote about the slave escapes of Solomon Northup and John Price. We wrote biographies of Sacajawea and Jane Addams as well.

We are authors. We gather facts, search for photos, interview experts, and then write non-fiction books for you. Call me a cheerleader for non-fiction, and enjoy browsing the Fradin library.

Now accepting speaking engagements for 2018.
